Elizabeth Wolf and her faithful companion Audie

The Eclectic Artist
A textured Life

Elizabeth wolf is a self taught artist who started her work seriously in 1997. She specialized in Fabric art tapestries and wall-hangings created out of rich fabrics, hand and free -form machine embroidery, beading and other manipulations on fabric. Later as she began to paint in acrylics, she added this dimension to her hangings, many of which were  large murals. Eventually, she became interested in watercolor and started producing her whimsical Madame LeDue series, which is being made into a children's book. Florals in watercolors or acrylics are also favorite outlets for  Elizabeth's creativity and versatility.  Drawing came last but no less importantly as she sharpened her skills for better work on her tapestries and her paintings.

Elizabeth is now teaching watercolor and drawing classes as well as fabric art classes. She lives in the Ozark mountains in Eureka Springs, Arkansas,  with her dog & cat and spends all of her time at the easel or the sewing machine or in the garden. She can be contacted at her studio in the woods, Damselfly Studio
(info below) if people wish to visit with her about her works. She also designs clothing, paints gourds and creates sculptures.

"I have tried to make beautiful and practical works of art with the thought in mind that my free spirit will encourage everyone to keep in touch with their own free spirit. Humor also plays a large part in many of Elizabeth Wolf's works as she feels that is what keeps us healthy."

Will travel anywhere in the world to give private classes.

Commissioned work always accepted and appreciated.
